ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington men's tennis team will wrap up the regular season as they celebrate Senior Day at the UTA Tennis Center on Sunday (April 14) at 11 a.m. against Louisiana.

The Mavericks are coming off a 4-1 loss to Wichita State on Monday, but have won their last three Sun Belt matches to put them to 3-2 overall in conference play. Their last conference win came a week ago when they defeated Troy 4-0.

This will be the first matchup between the Ragin' Cajuns and Mavericks since 2016 when UTA defeated Louisiana 4-0 in the Sun Belt Quarterfinals.

UTA NOTES
• The Mavericks will celebrate three of their most successful players in program history on Saturday, as they honor
Enrique Pardo,
Guanarteme Nuez and
Mauricio Rio for their Senior Days.
• Rio and Nuez will finish their UTA careers having two of the top five career winning percentages in school history. Nuez has won 65 percent of his matches, while Rio has won 64 percent of his.
• Pardo has won 73 percent of his singles matches this season (22-8 overall), which is the fifth best winning percentage in a single-season in program history.

SCOUTING LOUISIANA
The Ragin' Cajuns are 21-8 overall this season and 3-3 in the Sun Belt. They are coming off a 4-0 sweep of Troy last Sunday. Louisiana has three players with double-digit wins, led by Jamie Fraser's 18. Arthur Libaud is second on the team with 17 wins and Jan Galka has 10 on the year. In doubles play, Jan Galka and Kacper Dworak lead the Ragin' Cajuns with a 13-5 record.

The Mavs will wait to see their seed at the Sun Belt Conference Championships in Peachtree City, Georgia. The tournament will take place from April 19-21 at the Peachtree City Tennis Center.
