Box Score ARLINGTON, Texas - The UT Arlington men's tennis team finished their regular season with a sweep over the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns during their Senior Day match on Sunday at the UTA Tennis Center.

Seniors Guanarteme Nuez and Mauricio Rio gave the Mavericks their first victory of the afternoon, defeating Pearse Dolan and Arthur Libaud 6-1 on court one.  Miguel Cabrera and Alejandro Hayen finished the job, winning 6-4 on court three to give UTA the doubles point victory.  Enrique Pardo and Eduard Simo were leading 5-3 when their match was called.

Cabrera continued the hot hand for the Mavericks, giving them the first singles point of the afternoon with a 6-2, 6-2 win on court five.  Nuez followed, showing his #90 ranking with a 6-2, 6-4 win on court two over Dolan.  needing just one more point to complete the sweep, Hayen become the decided match. After fighting for 7-6 win in set one, he ran away with set two 6-1 to complete the victory for the Mavericks.

UP NEXT
The Mavericks will await their tournament seeding for the Sun Belt Tournament that will take place in Peachtree City, Georgia from April 19-21. Seedings will be released Sunday at 8:30 p.m.
