FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to pick up the 3-2 come-from-behind victory over UTA on Tuesday night at Lupton Stadium.

The game was scoreless until the top of the fifth inning when Will Olsen scored on a single to center field by
Andrew Miller to give the Mavericks a 1-0 lead. Miller finished the game 1-for-4 with a walk and an RBI. Olsen finished 2-for-5 with a run scored.

UTA (19-11) starting pitcher,
Drew Gooch has a solid outing and held TCU (18-9) scoreless through 5.2 innings, giving up seven hits and two walks and striking out two batters.

TCU tied things up with an RBI-single to left-center field in the bottom of the seventh inning, making it 1-1.

The Mavericks took the lead back in the top of the eighth inning as
Zac Cook scored on a wild pitch and put UTA in front 2-1.

Things didn't go the Mavericks' way in the bottom of the ninth inning as Josh Watson doubled down the line to tie the game 2-2. After intentionally walking TCU's Jake Guenther to load the bases, Hunter Wolfe scored the winning run for TCU on a balk.

TCU reliever, Cal Coughlin (1-0) got the win after pitching one-third inning and striking out the only batter he faced in the top of the ninth inning. UTA reliever,
Andrew Gross (0-1) pitched one inning and gave up two earned runs on three hits and one walk and struck out two batters in the loss.

UTA looks to bounce back Friday night as they host Little Rock in game one of a three-game Sun Belt Conference series at Clay Gould Ballpark.
