Box Score ARLINGTON, Texas - The UT Arlington men's tennis team swept Troy 4-0 at the UTA Tennis Center on Friday afternoon to win their fourth straight match.  The Mavericks now sit at 13-7 overall and 3-2 in Sun Belt play with three matches remaining.

The match got started with the UTA getting two quick wins in doubles competition. Miguel Cabrera and Alejandro Hayen defeated Jiaqi Duan and Bernard Manuel 6-4 in the No. 3 compeition before Enrique Pardo and Eduard Simo wrapped up the doubles point with a 6-4 win over Oskar Michalek . and Pelayo Antuna.  Guanarteme Nuez and Mauricio Rio were in a deadlock 6-6 in the No. 1 slot when their match was called.

Needing just three singles wins to wrap up the match, the Mavericks wasted no time, winning three matches in straight sets.  Mauricio Rio won the first match 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 3 compeition.  Jakub Grzegorczyk was the next to finish with a 6-3, 6-1 win in the No. 6 compeition to put the Mavs just one point away.  Miguel Cabrera ended the afternoon with a 6-4, 6-3 win in the No. 5 competition to give the Mavs the 4-0 win over the Trojans.
