ARLINGTON – The women's basketball game between UT Arlington and SMU scheduled for this coming Tuesday, Dec. 21, in Dallas has been canceled due to COVID protocols within the Lady Mavs program.

The Lady Mavs will return to action on Thursday, Dec. 30 as they open up Sun Belt Conference play on the road against Louisiana. Tip-off for that contest is scheduled for 6 p.m.

UTA sits at 6-3 overall as they conclude the non-conference portion of their season. The Lady Mavs have picked up wins over nationally-ranked South Florida, defending WNIT Champions Rice, Houston, and North Texas.
