ALLEN, Texas - The United Athletic Conference (UAC) has announced its inaugural Basketball Tipoff event for Thursday, September 24 at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas. 
 
Held at the host site for the 2027 UAC Basketball Tournaments, Tipoff is set to feature attendance from each member's men's and women's head basketball coaches and two student-athletes from each program. Tipoff celebrates the beginning of basketball season through unique local activations, creative content, and media availability. 
 
The UAC is proud to announce that Jeff Goodman from The Field of 68 along with Talia Goodman, will be on site conducting interviews with players and coaches.

A season preview show will air on ESPN+ in October, leading up to the first week of the season. Additional details will be made available to the public at a later date.
