Women’s Golf Finalizes Spring Schedule

ARLINGTON – Following its 2020 spring season being cut short and its fall docket abbreviated, the UT Arlington women's golf team unveiled its spring 2021 schedule which will get underway next week.

The Mavericks are scheduled to compete in four regular-season tournaments leading into the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in mid-April. That slate begins next Sunday-Tuesday (Feb. 28-Mar. 2) at the Kiawah Island Classic – site of the final event last spring UTA teed it up in prior to the COVID shutdown.

That is the lone event for the Mavs in the regular season that falls outside of state lines; each of the ensuing three tournaments take place in Southeast Texas prior to the Sun Belt Tournament in Daytona Beach, Fla.

UTA competed in just one event during the fall season as the Mavs hosted their first event at Texas Rangers Golf Club Oct. 19-20, finishing in 3rd place.

As with every team's schedule amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, all spring tournaments are schedule to change.
