ARLINGTON, Texas – Following a two-week break after their season opener, the UT Arlington men's tennis team (0-1) will be back in action this Saturday (Feb. 6) at 2 p.m. against Cameron at the UTA Tennis Center.

The Mavericks are coming off a 6-1 loss to Pac-12 member, Utah on Jan. 23 in Dallas.
Alan Sau Franco came away with the lone victory for the Mavericks, taking the No. 2 position 6-2, 2-6, 10-7.
Angel Diaz will look to bounce back from his first career singles dual loss after falling 6-3, 6-3.

Daichi Akiyoshi leads the Mavericks with 7 overall wins dating back to tournament play.
Solano Caffarena is second on the team with six wins, but has not played in the spring yet.
SCOUTING CAMERON
The Mavericks are 16-0 all-time against Cameron, dating back to 1995. A season ago, UTA defeated the Aggies 6-1 at the UTA Tennis Center. This is the first match of the spring for the Aggies. Cameron returns their wins leader from a season ago in Oscar del Granado, who went 8-1 on court two.

The Mavs will travel to Houston next weekend to take on Rice (Feb. 13) and UT Tyler (Feb. 14).
