WICHITA, Kan. - The UT Arlington men's tennis team will travel to Wichita State tomorrow for a match against Denver on Sunday before taking on the Shockers on Monday. The Mavericks are 6-6 on the season.
UTA is coming off a 5-2 loss at Rice on Thursday, but had won five straight matches heading into that match.
Angel Diaz and
Alan Sau Franco lead the Mavericks with 10 singles wins on the season. Diaz is 6-4 on court one for the Mavericks and has won six straight matches.
Alejandro Hayen sits at 7-10 since fall tournament play, but has won his last three matches in dual competition.
In doubles action, the team of
Miguel Cabrera and
Angel Diaz lead the Mavericks with a 9-2 record. The tandem has won their last six doubles matches together and boasts a 5-1 record on court three
