NORMAN, Okla. - The UT Arlington men's tennis team will get back on the court after a week off as they travel to take on No. 20 Oklahoma Sooner in Norman on Tuesday.
The Mavericks sit at 6-8 on the season, but have played a daunting schedule, taking on five ranked opponents. The Mavericks are looking for their first win since sweeping Abilene Christian 4-0 on March 20. UTA is also looking to win their first match away from the friendly confines of the UTA Tennis Center.
With three matches remaining in the season, there are two Mavericks with double-digit wins -
Alan Sau Franco and
Angel Diaz. Both Sau Franco and Diaz are at 10 wins on the season in singles play. Diaz has won six straight matches.
In doubles competition, Diaz again leads the pack, holding a 10-5 record. Nine of those wins have come with partner
