SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The UT Arlington men's tennis team will travel to San Antonio for a 5th straight road match, where they will take on UTSA at 11 am on Saturday, April 10.
The Mavericks are coming off a 4-0 loss to No. 20 Oklahoma last Tuesday in Norman and have lost four consecutive matches. The Roadrunners and Mavericks met earlier this season, with the Roadrunners coming out on top 4-1 in Arlington.
The Mavericks are led by
Alan Sau Franco and
Angel Diaz who both sit on 10 wins on the season. Diaz is 6-4 on court one, while Sau Franco has played No. 2 through No. 4 for the Mavericks.
Solano Caffarena looks to join the two with double-digit wins as he currently sits with nine on the year.
In doubles action, the tandem of
Angel Diaz and
Miguel Cabrera lead the squad with a 9-5 record, including a 2-0 mark at No. 2 doubles.
Sau Franco and
Alejandro Hayen are the mainstay at No. 1, racking up four wins thus far.
