EL PASO, Texas - Due to inclement weather, the UT Arlington softball team's midweek contest at UTEP Wednesday night has been canceled.

The Mavericks (0-4) were scheduled to face the Miners (4-2) at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at Helen of Troy Softball Complex in El Paso. 

From El Paso, UTA will head to Las Cruces, New Mexico where the squad will compete in New Mexico State's Troy Cox Invitational beginning Feb. 17 to face Northern Colorado, Iowa State, Southeastern Louisiana, Nebraska and host, New Mexico State.
