LAKE CHARLES, Louisiana - The UT Arlington softball team's scheduled game against McNeese Sunday has been canceled due to non-COVID illnesses. 

The Mavericks sit on an overall record of 6-7 as the team went 2-1 at McNeese's Evangeline Bank and Trust II Invitational with wins over Manhattan and Sam Houston. 

UTA will resume action Wednesday, March 2 as the squad will head to Denton for a midweek matchup to face North Texas at 6 p.m.
