ARLINGTON – The 2022 edition of UT Arlington's Day of Giving, #MavsDay22, last month resulted in a goal-exceeding day for the Department of Athletics and the Maverick Club as a grand total of $77,747 was raised in support of UTA's 225+ student-athletes.
 
That outstanding effort contributed to another record-breaking year for the University as UTA brought in $883,882 during #MavsDay22.
 
As part of the nearly $80K athletics total were the following MavsDay Challenge winners:
 

• Challenge 1 – $250 (Or Greater) Gift Matches
  • Baseball, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Men's & Women's Golf, Men's & Women's Tennis, Softball and Volleyball
     
• Challenge 2 – Largest Gift
  • Volleyball
     
• Challenge 3 – Program With The Most Gifts
  • Softball
     
• Challenge 4 – Most Alumni Donations
  • Track & Field
     
• Challenge 5 – $1 Match For Every Gift
  • 169 Total Gifts

Every cent raised goes toward the Athletic Department's general scholarship fund, in addition to each of its 15 teams.
