ARLINGTON, Texas– The UT Arlington men's tennis team (5-3) is set to face Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the UTA Tennis Center.
The Mavericks have won their past three matches at home over Cameron, Collin College and Trinity, dropping only one point.
Solano Caffarena and
Anton Shepp look to continue their winning streak as a doubles team. They are undefeated on Court 1, holding a 4-0 record for the season.
Shepp has also been impressive in singles play, with a 7-1 record on Court 1.
Joan Torres Espinosa also holds a 7-1 record, with wins on Courts 2, 3 and 4. They are both undefeated at the UTA Tennis Center.
Lachlan Robertson also remains undefeated at home, winning his past four matches on Courts 4, 5 and 6 to improve his record to 4-2 for the season.
Dante Teramo also looks to continue his success after winning his past three matches for the Mavericks.
SCOUTING TAMUCC
The Mavericks are 6-15 against the Islanders. Their last win was in 2022, pulling out the 4-2 victory. The Islanders hold a 7-3 record going in to Wednesday's match.
