BLAINE, Wash. – With a 633 36-hole total, the UT Arlington women's golf team concluded the second round at the Western Athletic Conference Championship Monday from Semiahmoo Country Club.
As a team, UTA improved their score by three shots from Sunday's opening round after logging a 2nd-round 315. The Mavericks will gear up for the final round at the WAC Championship as the team currently sits in 11th place.

T-39) Connor Howard: 77-80
T-48) Kamri Gabel: 81-80

Le
- Le didn't place anything higher than a bogey on her card as she turned in a 2nd-round 76 with just four bogeys on 2, 8, 9 and 14. The freshman led the Maverick lineup with 15 pars.
Howard
- The graduate student got off to a solid start in Monday's second round after producing a 38 (+2) on the front nine with a birdie on hole 2. However, a pair of big numbers over her final four holes set her card back, settling for an 80.
Gabel
- Gabel's score improved by one stroke from Sunday's opening round as she logged a 2nd-round 80. The Texas native's round featured one double, six bogeys and 11 pars.
Rodriguez
- Like Le, fellow freshman Rodriguez did not card anything above a bogey in Monday's round. With seven bogeys and 11 pars, Rodriguez tabbed a 2nd-round 79.
Choi
- Choi struggled to gain any momentum throughout her round as several big numbers were too much to recover from. However, the senior was able to card seven pars.
