ARLINGTON – Western Athletic Conference officials on Tuesday announced the 2022-23 Academic All-WAC honorees for spring sports, with UT Arlington placing 53 student-athletes on the list.
 
Along with the spring list, the league also recognized freshmen and transfer student-athletes from all 2022-23 conference sports. Those additions – combined with the aforementioned fall and winter teams – gave UTA 86 total Academic All-WAC honorees from this past year.
 
To be eligible for Academic All-WAC recognition, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year at UTA, have a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of a team's contests this past season.
