JONESBORO, Ark. – The UT Arlington women's golf team concluded Lady Red Wolves Classic action with a final-round 311 on Tuesday, Oct. 15 from Sage Meadows Golf Course.
UTA's
Nitisha Manikandesh paced the Maverick lineup throughout the course of the two-day tournament after logging rounds of 76-72-75. The Plano native has had an impressive start to the 2024-25 season as her previous two outings were top-10 performances.
After play in Jonesboro, Manikandesh tied for 18th overall along with Mississippi College's Tina Honnef, Morehead State's Tavia Burgess, Murray State's Patti Patterson and Arkansas State's Olivia Coit.

Manikandesh
- Manikandesh's final round was fairly steady aside from a pair of bogeys which came on holes 6 and 9. The junior recorded two birdies across her round, totaling four over the course of the tournament.
Bhoga
- Bhoga shot even through the first seven holes after starting on the par-5 15th holes with her lone birdie coming on 18. Unfortunately, several hiccups on the closing holes set her card back +6.
Gabel
- Gabel shaved three strokes off Monday's second round as she ended play in Jonesboro with a final-round 77. The junior's card featured three bogeys, one double and one birdie.
Gulhane
- Gulhane struggled to find her groove as multiple big numbers prevented her from gaining any momentum. However, the sophomore recorded one birdie which came on 16.
NEXT UP
UTA will round out fall action with Little Rock's Diamante Intercollegiate which is scheduled to begin on Sunday, Oct. 20 from Diamante Country Club.
