ARLINGTON, TEXAS – The UT Arlington volleyball team (18-2, 8-0 WAC) continued its first-place dominance with its fourth-consecutive sweep (25-14, 25-16, 25-21) over the Utah Tech Trailblazers (10-7, 4-3 WAC) this Saturday to remain unbeaten in Western Athletic Conference play. The Mavs have now rattled off nine consecutive wins in their thirteenth sweep of the season.
In the win, both
Sjakkie Donkers and
Brianna Ford picked up double-doubles. Donkers put together 14 kills and 12 digs while Ford picked up 16 kills and 16 digs. Both Ford and Donkers were incredibly precise in their attacks as the pair connected on 30 out of 50 attempts for a percentage of .600.
In the sweep,
Mollie Blank provided 36 assists and helped orchestrate the Mavs offense to a .500 kill percentage, a season high.
Paige Reagor picked up six total blocks in the win, making it the third-straight match with at least five or more blocks.

J.T. Wenger. "Our offense was consistent all night and
Mollie Blank really helped keep our attackers active all night. It was a great crowd today and I know that helped the team."
The match had an attendance of 1,978, the second-most attended game in UT Arlington Volleyball history. Additionally, seven out of the top ten highest attended games have occurred within the last two seasons.
