Dill Announces 2025 Signing Class

ARLINGTON – UT Arlington softball and head coach Kara Dill have announced the 2025 recruiting class, consisting of five student-athletes who have signed their National Letters of Intent.

"I'm very excited about our Maverick signing class," shared Dill. "Hailey, Jordan, Kaylee, Peyton, and Taylor all possess the skills and work ethic necessary to compete at the highest level. We cannot wait to have them in Arlington next fall!"

Peyton Holland | SS | 5-7 | Chisum High School | NE Texas CC | Paris, Texas
Holland is a shortstop out of Paris, Texas where she attended Chisum High School before spending one year at Northeast Texas Community College. Prior to her collegiate career, Holland set the single-season homerun record where she garnered salutatorian honors.

Last season for the Eagles, the infielder batted .344, coming away with 16 walks, 10 doubles, 16 home runs, 38 RBI and 27 stolen bases.
Taylor Minor | MIF/UTL | 5-6 | Rockwall High School | Rockwall, Texas
A three-time Academic All-District honoree, Minor attends Rockwall High School where she is a National Honor Society member. The utility is a two-time All-District selection as well as the winner of the Williams Wildcat Award (2021) and Cameron Echols Heart Award (2020).
 
Outside of high school, Minor plays travel ball for American Freedom.



Kaylee Schweitzer | OF/UTL | 5-2 | Pearland High School | Pearland, Texas  
At Pearland High School, Schweitzer is a member of National Honor Society where she also was a player on the 2023 6A State Championship team. Outside of high school, the outfielder plays select ball for Strykers Fastpitch.


 
Jordan Smith | OF | 5-11 | Pearland High School | Houston, Texas  
An outfielder hailing from Houston, Smith was named to the 2nd-Team All-District and All-Tournament Team at Pearland High School. Aside from high school, Smith competes for Impact Gold.



Hailey Sralik | P/1B | 5-8 | Jourdanton High School | Jourdanton, Texas
Sralik is a pitcher/first baseman from Jourdanton, Texas where she attends Jourdanton High School. The incoming freshman garners multiple honors including TGCA All-State (21-22), (22-23), (23-24), Softball District MVP (21-22), (22-23), (23-24) and Softball Academic All-District (21-22), (22-23), (23-24). In her high school stint, Sralik has recorded 36 home runs and 922 strike outs.

Sralik also competes for the volleyball team at Jourdanton High School where she was named to the Academic All-District Team (21-22), (22-23), (23-24) as well as 1st-Team All-District (23-24). The future Maverick has collected 500 career digs.

Off the field and court, Sralik currently serves as the Student Council President, National Honors Society Vice President, and Rotary Club Vice President for the 2024-25 school year. Additionally, the Texas native is in the top 2% of her graduating class.
