UTA Student-Athletes Win Again In Classroom In Latest NCAA APR Report

ARLINGTON, Texas – Winning in competition starts with winning in the classroom, and UT Arlington student-athletes continue to shine academically, as evidenced by the NCAA's Academic Progress Rate report announced this week.

The Academic Progress Rate (APR) holds institutions accountable for the academic progress of their student-athletes through a team-based metric that accounts for the eligibility and retention of each student-athlete each semester.

In the multi-year report, the UTA women's golf and women's tennis teams each earned a perfect score of 1000 for the 2022-23 year. Every UTA athletics program achieved above the NCAA-mandated multi-year score of 930 during the 2022-23 season.

In addition to the two teams noted above with perfect scores, women's volleyball scored 995, softball 988, men's tennis 983, women's track 979, baseball 976, men's cross country 973, men's golf 972, men's track 966, women's basketball 965, women's cross country 964, and men's basketball 954.

For the 2022-23 year, baseball, men's tennis, women's cross country, women's golf, softball, women's tennis, women's track and women's volleyball all had perfect single-year APR scores of 1000.
