ARLINGTON, Texas - The Inaugural UT Arlington Athletics Roadshow got underway Monday in Austin, Texas, with an evening event downtown at Stubbs Bar-B-Q. Director of Athletics Jon Fagg, as well as men's head basketball coach KT Turner, women's basketball head coach Shereka Wright, softball head coach Kara Dill and additional members of the UTA staff were on hand to speak with and meet Maverick supporters from the Austin area.
Prior to the event in the evening, UTA staff also had the opportunity to meet with former women's basketball head coach Jody Conradt, who now serves as a special assistant at the University of Texas.
After a successful opening night on the road, the show continues Tuesday night with stop No. 2 in Houston at the Grand Lux Cafe from 6:30-8 p.m. CT.
