UTA Men's Golf Releases 2025 Spring Schedule

ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington men's golf and head coach Logan Goulding announced the program's 2025 spring schedule on Friday, which is comprised of six events. The Mavericks open their spring slate next Sunday at the Vaqueros Intercollegiate from Playa Paraiso Golf Club in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
 
Spring 2025 Schedule
Feb. 2-4: Vaqueros Intercollegiate, hosted by UTRGV – Playa del Carmen, Mexico (Playa Paraiso GC)
Feb. 10-11: Bentwater Intercollegiate – Montgomery, Texas (Miller Golf Course at Bentwater)
March 11-12: GCU Invitational – Phoenix, Arizona (GCU Golf Course)
March 31-April 1: Wyoming Cowboy Classic – Maricopa, Arizona (Ak-Chin Southern Dunes)
April 11-13: El Macero Classic – El Macero, California (El Macero CC)
April 25-27: WAC Men's Golf Championship – Payson, Arizona (GC at Chaparral Pines)
 
The Mavs return eight members from the fall – Cameron BeckMichael ChevalierTrent GriesselShoichiro KatoEthan MillerDiego Nuno, Jan stals van Rooyen and Jerry Huang.
 
The spring competition season gets underway in Mexico, beginning Sunday, Feb. 2 and carrying through Tuesday, Feb. 4 from Playa Paraiso Golf Club in Playa del Carmen.
 
Following the spring opener, the Mavs travel south to Montgomery, Texas for the Bentwater Classic, hosted by former conference mates Sam Houston at the Miller Golf Course at Bentwater on Monday, Feb. 10-Tuesday, Feb. 11.
 
A month later, UTA ventures to the valley of the sun for the GCU Invitational at Grand Canyon Golf Course in Phoenix from Tuesday, March 11-Wednesday, March 12.
 
Three weeks later, the Mavericks return to Arizona, this time in Maricopa, for the Wyoming Cowboy Classic at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Monday, March 31-Tuesday, April 1.
 
The final tune-up ahead of the conference championship happens the weekend of April 11 in El Macero, California, as the Mavs travel to the west coast for the El Macero Classic, hosted by UC Davis.
 
Finally, the Mavericks return for a third time to Arizona for the WAC Men's Golf Championship in Payson, Arizona, from Friday, April 25-Sunday, April 27, vying for a conference title and a spot in the NCAA Championships.
