PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico – UT Arlington's men's golf opens its spring season on Sunday with round one of the Vaqueros Intercollegiate, hosted by UTRGV from the Playa Paraiso Golf Club in Playa del Carmen.
Along with UTA and host institution UTRGV, additional participating teams include Abilene Christian, Cal Baptist, Denver, Lamar, Louisiana-Monroe, Northern Colorado, North Texas, Seton Hall, SMU, UTEP, UTSA, Western Carolina and Wichita State.
Rounds one and two will be on Sunday and Monday, while the Mavs conclude play with the third and final round on Tuesday morning. Each day begins with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Playa Paraiso Golf Club is a par 72, and the yardage for the tournament is 6,701.
