PHOENIX – UT Arlington's Kamri Gabel leads the Mavericks, sitting in 6th place following day two of Utah Valley's Wigwam Preview Monday, Feb. 3 from Wigwam Golf Club.
 
UTA moved up one spot in the team leaderboard as the Mavs shaved 12 strokes off Sunday's opening-round 313. Gabel and Nitisha Manikandesh posted rounds of even par, guiding the Mavericks to a 614 36-hole total.

Across the 51-player field, Gabel resides at the top with nine birdies (T-1) and a 3.90 (-2) par-4 scoring average (1).

Junior Manikandesh improved her score by nine shots as Monday's round marked the seventh round of even par or better as a Maverick. Additionally, the Texas native produced an impressive 35 (-1) on the back nine – best of the UTA lineup.
