PHOENIX – The UT Arlington women's golf team finished Wigwam Preview action on a high note as
Kamri Gabel tied for 3rd place with a final-round 72 on Tuesday, Feb. 4 from Wigwam Golf Club.
Across the three-day event, Gabel finished with the top par-4 scoring average of 3.90 (-3), collecting a tournament-high of 14 birdies. Tuesday's round marked the fourth low round of the 2024-25 season and eighth in her collegiate career. The junior was responsible for one of two eagles among the 51-player field as the clutch shot came from the final round on the par-5 10th hole.
Junior
Nitisha Manikandesh came away with her second-straight round of 72, tying for 12th place along with Seattle U's Tsara Ralamboarison.
As a team, UTA improved its team total each day, ending tournament play with a final-round 297. Now, the Mavericks have tabbed three top-10 finishes on the year.
