SUGAR LAND, Texas – The UT Arlington women's golf team prepares for Houston Christian's two-day Riverbend Intercollegiate that is scheduled to begin on Monday, Mar. 10 from Riverbend Country Club.
Freshman
Tarini Bhoga is coming off a top 10 performance at last week's West Texas Classic in Abilene after posting rounds of 75-73. Abilene Christian's event was shortened to 36 holes due to unplayable high winds in the area as UTA capped the tournament with a 620 36-hole total, finishing in 7th place.
On the season, junior
Nitisha Manikandesh has played a vital role in head coach
Catherine Matranga's lineup as the Texas native leads UTA with a scoring average of 74.9. With a team-high of eight rounds of par or better on the year, Manikandesh's best finish has been T-8 which was back at UTA's fall opener in September.
