MARICOPA, Arizona – UT Arlington's men's golf concluded the Wyoming Cowboy Classic Tuesday, hosted by Wyoming from the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Arizona. UTA finished in 20
th place in the team competition at +29.
Diego Nuno was the team's best finisher for the event, at +2 in 48
th place, but it was freshman
Jerry Huang's even-par 72 that paced the Mavericks in round three on Tuesday. Huang birdied on four occasions, on Nos. 5, 9, 13 and 18, while birdieing 11 holes.
Sophomore
Michael Chevalier finished three-over on the day with the team's second-best round, carding birdies on Nos. 1, 9, 11 and 18.
The Mavs return to action for their final tuneup prior to the WAC Men's Golf Championships next week, Friday, April 13-Sunday, April 15 at the El Macero Classic, hosted by UC Davis.
