ARLINGTON, TX --The UT Arlington volleyball team earned a 3-0 victory (25-13, 25-20, 25-21) over the Southern Utah Thunderbirds Saturday at home at College Park Center.
The conference victory improved UT Arlington's record to 9-4 overall and 1-0 in WACÂ action.
The Mavericks attack was paced by Jalie Tritt, who finished with 16 kills on the day, and by Camryn McMinn, who had 12. got 21 digs from Samantha Glenn to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Mavericks grabbed control on the first point and never looked back to win the first set 25-13. UT Arlington opened up its biggest lead, 12 points, to finish off the set. got a solid defensive performance from a front row that blocked five Southern Utah attacks in the stanza.
SET 2 | After their win in the first set, UT Arlington put themselves on the cusp of a sweep with a 25-20 victory in set number two. The Mavericks never trailed by more than five points and grabbed the advantage for good at 21-20 in a set that showcased two lead changes before the Mavericks took over in the second half of the stanza.
SET 3 | UT Arlington took set three to finish the match in a 3-0 sweep. The Mavericks grabbed control of the set early when the score was 6-5 and never trailed to win 25-21. UT Arlington led by nine points at 22-13 before finishing off the stanza, totaling 17 kills in the set.
