ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington Mavericks (14-11, 6-7 WAC) will look to get back to their winning ways Thursday night at College Park Center at 7 p.m. (CT) when the Mavs host Utah Tech (16-11, 9-4 WAC).
Thursday night's meeting will be the eighth all-time, with UTA holding a 5-2 advantage. The past three games have been decided by a total of nine points. The last meeting was an 87-84 double-overtime thriller won by the Trailblazers on Feb. 5 in St. George, Utah.
After not dropping back-to-back games all season previously, UTA has lost five games in a row. During that tough stretch the Mavs have suffered two overtime losses and two more by five points or less. Utah Tech heads into Arlington riding a six-game winning streak and has a share of first place in the Western Athletic Conference.
The game will be broadcast live on
ESPN+ with Will Conerly (play-by-play) and David Zimmerman (analyst). In addition, the game will air live on the radio on the Varsity Network App with the Voice of the Mavs, Josh Sours, on the call.
