FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – UT Arlington dropped the series finale at Arkansas, 11-1, in a seven-inning contest that concluded on a run-rule walk-off Sunday afternoon at Baum-Walker Stadium.
The Mavericks (3-8) collected five hits and turned in a clean defensive effort, while Arkansas used a pair of multi-run innings to secure the series finale.
UTA's lone run came in the fifth inning.
Alex Bustamante reached on an error to open the frame and moved into scoring position before
Holden Rook delivered an RBI double to left field. The two-bagger, Rook's first of the season, plated Bustamante and trimmed the deficit to 5-1 at the time.
Ethan Ho paced the Maverick offense with a 2-for-3 performance, marking his second multi-hit effort of the season.

Xander McAfee each added a hit as UTA finished with five on the afternoon.
Arkansas broke through with single runs in the second and fourth innings before a three-run third created early separation. The Razorbacks added five runs in the sixth to extend their advantage.
UTA stranded six runners and finished 1-for-6 with runners in scoring position.
