The UT Arlington Mavericks (16-13, 8-9 WAC) stay in the state Saturday to conclude the regular season when the Mavs face the Abilene Christian Wildcats (13-17, 5-12 WAC). Game time is set for 6 p.m. A victory would get the Mavs back to .500 in conference play.

With their win on Thursday night, the Mavericks locked up the No. 4 seed at next week's WAC Championships and will begin play next Thursday, March 12. Cash Chavis (18) and Jordan Lowery (career-high 16) led the way for UTA.
This is the third meeting of the season between the Mavs and Wildcats. The teams split the earlier meetings, with UTA picking up an 82-72 home win in January before falling 67-63 in Abilene last month. Each of UTA's last five wins this season have come when holding its opponents under 65 points. On the year, the Mavs lead the WAC in team defense, allowing just 67.1 points per game.
Saturday's game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and will air live on the radio on the Varsity Network App with the Voice of the Mavs, Josh Sours, on the call.
