MARICOPA, Ariz. – UT Arlington men's golf is through day one of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic. Play was suspended with just over half of the second round completed for most of the field. 

Two UTA freshmen shot an even-par 72 in the first round. Arth Sinha was one, birdieing three holes and bogeying another trio. The Melbourne, Florida-native parred eight holes on the front nine and birdied the other. Sinha is 2-over-par in round two with six holes to play. 

Nicholas Lyman was the other Maverick to card an even-par opening round. The freshman birdied four holes and also shot a 1-under 35 on the front nine.  Lyman is 3-over in the second round.

Matching Lyman's birdie total in the first round was Ajay Morris. The freshman posted a 1-over 73 in the first 18 holes. Morris is 3-over with six holes to play in round two. The Avondale, Arizona-native is 4-over through 30 holes.

In the second round, Matthew Broder's first 12 holes of the second round were a nice rebound after a 7-over 79 in the opener. The junior birdied three holes en route to an even-par 48. Broder has six holes left to play before moving to the final round. 

Michael Chevalier is 5-over par in the second round. The junior also shot a 7-over 79 in the first round.

Play will resume in the second round at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday with the third and final round beginning immediately after. FOLLOW ALONG
