The 5,940 sq. foot facility opened on the eve of the 2013 season. The facility contains interchangeable batting cages, pitching mounds and the ability for interchangeable settings to allow for an open practice when necessary.

"It's definitely going to help in player development and chemistry," UT Arlington coach Darin Thomas said. "When the weather gets bad, we can still use the facility and still have a practice."
