ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS

WHAT IS AN ENDOWMENT?

An endowment is a financial backing that provides support for specific or general programs in the colleges, schools and units at UTA. These gifts are a commitment to the University that affords greater opportunities for current and future Maverick students. Endowments allow you to recognize or to pay tribute to a loved one, colleague or friend. They may be established through outright gifts as well as estate gifts.

HOW DOES ONE CREATE AN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP?

The minimum amount required to initiate an endowment is $25,000 and can be paid over the course of five years. Additionally, anyone can contribute to a current endowment to increase the support that endowment provides. These leadership gifts are impactful long after the initial investment.
