 Ticketing/Admissions: 
  • Contestants must present their competition number for admission to Maverick Stadium at all times. Coaches will be issued three (3) complimentary wrist bands for single gender programs and five (5) complimentary wrist bands for combined dual gender programs. Wrist bands are intended for coaches, athletic trainers and athletic directors. **Only, NOT TEAM PARENTS to ensure the safety of all participants.
  • Tickets can be purchased at: www.utatickets.com. Tickets are $10 for adults and $10 for students each day
  • Additional wristbands can be purchased in advanced by emailing jldurham@uta.edu $10.00 per band requested for staff only.

Media:
  • Media credential requests can be made to Kensley Walters (kensley.walters@uta.edu). Credential requests will be closed Thursday, April 30 at 3 p.m. CT.
 Parking:
  • Parking for the track meet will be on the south side of the Maverick Stadium. Bus parking and overflow parking will be available in Lots 25, 27, and 30. Signage will be visible.
  • Team buses will drop of athletes on the East Side of Maverick Stadium at the “Athlete Drop Off” location.

 Athletic Trainers:

  • Athletic trainers from the UT Arlington Sports Medicine Program will be on duty throughout the meet. The primary contact for sports medicine for these Regional Track and Field Championships will be Lauren Jordan, UTA Track and Field Athletic Trainer; (C) 940-393-2916
  • Athletic training area will be for emergencies only and athletes must be accompanied by UTA Athletic Trainers for use. No team preventative treatments will be done at either athletic training areas.
 Maverick Stadium Protocols:

***IMPORTANT UPDATE*** 
We have adopted the suggested Multiple Classifications Bad Weather schedule for this years championships. Please take the time to review all changes to ensure your athletes are prepared to compete at the appropriate time and date. 

Coaches Meeting Thursday, 4/30/26 at 6:30pm Maverick stadium, in the Maverick Classroom 106 to review any issues which may be confusing during the meet such as relay card submissions, the appeals process, coaching areas, etc.

Early Packet Pick up will still be Thursday 4/30/26 6-8pm. General Pickup  7am-10am Friday ONLY, and 7am-10am Saturday Only.

Implement Check In will still be Thursday 4/30/26 6-8pm. For Discus, Shot Put, and PV. Additionally, Saturday Pole Vault check in will begin one hour before the start time of each contest. Saturday Shot Put/Discus check in is 7-10am. If you have an athlete that throws at 12:30 they must check in implements by 10am.

Opening Heights (subject to change) 6A Boys - HJ - 5’10”; PV - 12’6” 5A Boys - HJ - 5’8; PV - 9’ 6A Girls - HJ - 4’8”; PV - 9’ 5A Girls - HJ - 4’4”; PV - 5’6” The Scratch/Add period and link to add relay members is closed. If you need to make any necessary changes or addition we can review the possibility at packet pick up windows.

Gates will open at 8:00 am

8:00 AM All divisions or as soon as weather allows you to start.

RUNNING PRELIMS on a rolling schedule if weather is anywhere near permissible. Start
