Momoka Horiguchi joined the UT Arlington tennis coaching staff as a graduate assistant this fall. 

Prior to coaching, she played on the UTA tennis team from 2017-22. During her career, she was selected as a member of the second team All-Sun Belt doubles (2019) and first team All-Sun Belt singles (2021). She played at the No. 1 spot for three years from 2019-22. In 2019, she was ranked 115 in the NCAA national rankings.

Horiguchi was also a two-time member of the Sun Belt Commissioner's List.

A native of Osaka, Japan, Horiguchi earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and is pursuing her masters in business administration.
