University of Texas Arlington Athletics

Cole Hollingsworth joins the UT Arlington facilities staff in March of 2024 after spending the previous six years with the Tarleton State Athletics department. He served as the Events and Operations Coordinator for the department as well as assisting with facility oversight.
 
During his time at Tarleton State, Hollingsworth was in charge of maintaining the daily grounds and stadium work at Memorial Stadium and Wisdom Gym. He oversaw the setup of facilities on game days, served as a game administrator, and help hire and train student workers.
 
Hollingsworth spent three years working with the men’s basketball team at Tarleton State, first as a student assistant in 2013-14, then as the graduate assistant coach for two seasons in 2014-16. During his time as a coach, the Texans won two regular season LSC Championships and two South Central Regional Championships with trips to the Elite Eight and Final Four.
 
After his time at Tarleton State as a graduate assistant coach, Hollingsworth spent three years as a high school teacher and coach at West and McGregor ISD where he taught history and coached high school football, basketball and track.
 
He graduated from Tarleton State with his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2013 and received his graduate degree in athletic administration in 2016.
 
The Meridian, Texas, native resides in Fort Worth with his fiancé.
