Dr. Erika LeFlore joined UTA Athletics as Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations in July 2024.

As a member of NACDA and affiliates, Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA), Dr. LeFlore was selected as a Rising Stars Program (22') participant and serves on the MOAA Symposium committee. In addition, she is a part of Women Leaders in College Sports.
 
Prior to UTA, Dr. LeFlore served as the Associate Athletic Director of Internal Operations and the Senior Woman Administrator at Florida Memorial University. At FMU, she served on the senior leadership team and oversaw many facets of the Athletic Department. She served as the sport supervisor of women's basketball, softball, baseball, flag football, and secondary to men's basketball. In addition to sport supervision, she oversaw the Sports Medicine department, athletic work-study students, and graduate assistants. Dr. LeFlore also coordinated ticketing & gameday staffing for all athletic events. She was the athletic liaison for human resources, housing, and student affairs. Her duties also included new hire on-boarding, development of policies and procedures, strategic planning, overseeing supervised sport budgets, and completion of EADA (Equity in Athletics) and ROA (Return on Athletics).
 
Dr. LeFlore arrived at FMU from Tougaloo College (2016-2021), where she served as the head volleyball coach and an assistant women's basketball coach. In addition to her athletic duties, she served as an administrator under the Director of Athletics, and an adjunct instructor in the Health and Physical Education Department. During her tenure as the head volleyball coach, she was awarded Coach of the Year in 2017 and led the team to regular season runner-up and tournament runner-up in 2018.
 
Prior to working at Tougaloo College, she worked as the Academic Coordinator in Sports Administration and an adjunct instructor in Sports Administration at Belhaven University.
 
A proud Baker, Louisiana native, LeFlore received a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration (2013) and a Master of Sports Administration (2015) from Belhaven University, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration (2021) from The University of Southern Mississippi. While attending Belhaven, she was a two-sport decorated athlete in Women's Basketball and Volleyball.
