Logan Goulding

Logan Goulding was named UT Arlington's head men’s golf coach in August 2024.
 
Goulding brings well-rounded perspective and experience on the sport to the Mavericks’ program. A three-time all-conference player, he has coached collegiately for seven years and played professionally for three years. Additionally, Goulding has been a professional caddy on the Korn Ferry and PGA Tours during his career, including working as a full-time caddy during the 2023-24 season.
 
Goulding was head coach of the University of Denver for two seasons (2021-23), leading the Pioneers to the Summit League Championship in his first year, as he was named Coach of the Year. Denver earned an NCAA Tournament appearance and finished seventh in the NCAA Regional, two spots from advancing to the NCAA Tournament Championship round. In year two as head coach, Goulding and the Pioneers were the Summit League runners-up.
 
Goulding spent four seasons as assistant coach at the University of San Diego (2017-21), overseeing recruiting efforts while actively involved in all facets of the program. Goulding arrived at USD after one year as the head coach at Hawaii Pacific University (2016-17), where he led both the men's and women's golf programs.
 
Before Hawaii Pacific, Goulding worked as a professional caddy. He’s worked with multiple pros, including Rico Hoey, Justin Suh, Ryan Hall, and T.J. Vogel. Goulding also was a volunteer assistant coach at the University of the Pacific, in charge of player development and course management.
 
As a student-athlete at Hawaii-Hilo from 2006-2010, Goulding earned PacWest All-Conference accolades three times. After graduating with a degree in communications, The Tracy, California native returned home to pursue professional golf from 2010 to 2012. He was the NCPGA Apprentice Match Play Champion, the NCGA Valley Amateur Champion, and the Antioch City Championship Champion.
 
Goulding and his wife, Carley, have one son, Austin.
