Tyler Iverson joined Maverick Athletics in September 2025 and serves as the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing & Outreach with the University of Texas at Arlington, where he oversees marketing, ticketing, fan engagement, and promotional initiatives designed to enhance the game-day experience and grow support for Mavs Athletics. In his role, Iverson manages day-to-day marketing operations, develops strategic promotional campaigns, and coordinates community, and campus outreach efforts.
Prior to joining UTA, Iverson served as Director of Ticketing for Oak View Group, where he managed all aspects of ticketing operations, including event builds, financial reconciliation, system administration, and client relations. He played a key role in implementing ticketing strategies and supporting events across multiple venues and entertainment properties.
Before his time with Oak View Group, Iverson was the Ticket Operations & Sales Specialist at Georgia State University. There, he led season ticket and group sales initiatives, developed digital marketing campaigns, oversaw game-day ticket operations, and collaborated with campus partners to increase attendance and fan engagement.
Iverson also served as Director of Athletic Events & Engagement at Tennessee State University, where he oversaw athletic ticket operations, event marketing, fan experience, and revenue-generation initiatives. During his tenure, he implemented a new Ticketmaster Archtics ticketing system and developed comprehensive marketing strategies focused on increasing attendance and enhancing the overall fan experience.
A recognized leader in collegiate athletics, Iverson was selected as a facilitator for the 2023 National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Convention in Orlando.
Iverson earned both a Master of Science in Sports Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
