MONROE, La. - The University of Texas at Arlington volleyball squad kept its all-time series record with Louisiana-Monroe perfect with a three-game sweep, 30-13, 30-18, 30-22 over the Indians in Southland Conference volleyball action Saturday afternoon. The Mavericks are 38-0 all-time when facing ULM.
The Mavericks improve to 18-4 overall and 10-3 in the league while ULM falls to 5-18 and 0-12.
UTA hit a season high .731 in game one after jumping to a 1-0 lead and never trailing en route to a 30-13 win.
Morgan Rogers and Caley Smith led the Mavericks with nine kills apiece while Dani Johnson chipped in eight off the bench. Laurie Burrow came in off the bench to record four kills in four attempts for a perfect 1.000 attack percentage. Smith and Torie Dacus led the defense with eight digs each.
Texas-Arlington will return to Texas Hall this weekend when it plays host to McNeese State Friday evening at 7 p.m.
