TUESDAY'S BASEBALL GAME AT TEXAS POSTPONED

Feb. 9, 2004

ARLINGTON, Texas - The University of Texas at Arlington head baseball coach Jeff Curtis has announced the team's season opener against No. 5 Texas scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 10 has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 2:30 p.m. at Disch-Falk Field.

The postponement marks the third straight year that a game between the two school's has been either cancelled or postponed. The Mavericks will open up the 2004 campaign on Feb. 13-15 when they travel to New Orleans, La. to take on No. 10 Tulane. The game's are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. All three games will be played at Turchin Stadium.
