The softball doubleheader between UTA and Texas State, scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, has been postponed due to wet playing conditions. The twinbill will be made up at noon Sunday, weather permitting.
A third game will not be played for the series due to conference rules.
Texas State leads Texas-San Antonio by one game in the Southland Conference standings entering the final weekend of the regular season. A sweep by TXST would clinch the regular season crown and the top seed in the upcoming Southland Conference Tournament, April 30-May 2 in San Marcos, Texas. UTA will be the fourth seed in the tournament.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for students. UTA students with a valid identification are free of charge.
