AUSTIN, Texas - The Texas-Arlington men's teams' brief three-match winning streak came to an end on Friday as they fell to #11 Texas, 7-0, at the Pennick-Allison Tennis Center.

Texas (6-1) having three players ranked in the Top-30 in the country, took all six singles matches. The Longhorns also took the doubles point, but senior Sandy Farquharson and junior Daniel Omana registered the only victory for the Mavericks defeating Travis Helgeson and Callum Beale, 8-6, at the No. 1 doubles position.

Farquharson saw his three-match winning streak come to an end as he fell to #15 Travis Helgeson, 6-2, 6-4, at the No. 1 singles position.

The Mavericks will be back in action Wednesday when they travel to take on Oklahoma State. First-serve is set for 2 p.m. at the McLeod Tennis Center.
