ARLINGTON, Tx. - The UTA men's and women's track and field teams will continue their indoor season this weekend at the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. on January 23-24.
Other schools participating in the meet include Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State, Missouri Southern, North Texas, Oklahoma, Oral Roberts, Southern, SMU, TCU and Tulsa.
The event will be held at the Randal Tyson Track Center. Friday's schedule includes multis at 11 a.m., field events at 3 p.m. and running events at 6 p.m. Saturday's schedule features multis at 11 a.m., running at 10 a.m. and field events at 1 p.m.
The Mavericks' Cordero Gray is coming off a strong performance at the Leonard Hilton Memorial meet last weekend in Houston. He won the 200 meters and finished second in the 60 meter dash. Jarid Vaughn finished third in the 60 meters.
The men's distance medley team won their event with a time of 10:24:97. On the women's side last week, Antonia Hopkins finished sixth in the 400m with a time of 59.61. Jasmine Walls finished 12 in the 60m final at 7.75. Live results can be found at arkansasrazorbacks.com.
