Darius Richardson is the other player to average in double figures at 11.0 among players who have appeared in more than one game.
Bo Ingram registered UTA's second double-double of the season as he registered career-highs of 19 points and 10 rebounds at HBU.
The Mavericks come into the game 3-1 after winning 74-65 at Houston Baptist Saturday. A victory would improve UTA to 4-1 for the first time in two years and would mark the third time in the last four years UTA head coach Scott Cross would win at least four of his first five games (5-0 in 2007-08).
UTA has been a sharp-shooting team in the early going as they are at 49% from the field, 40% from 3-point range and 78% from the line.
Hardin-Simmons is 1-0 and Matt Addison leads the team in scoring with a 19.0 average.
This series, which dates back to 1963 is deadlocked at 19-19. UTA has won the last five meetings, which dates back to 1986. The teams last played in 2008 with the Mavs winning 84-64.
