Arlington, Texas - The UT Arlington men's basketball team took part in the fourth annual Shady Brook Elementary School Literacy Day recently.
The Mavericks were part of a group of celebrity readers to the children. Others who read to the students included parents, staff and Donovan Lewis from 1310 The Ticket in Dallas.
"It's always great to get out into the community," UT Arlington head coach Scott Cross said. "All of our guys had a great time at Shady Brook and we look forward to our next visit to the school."
