Arlington, Texas - UT Arlington forward Bo Ingram has been named the Southland Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Ingram was named to the Athletes in Action all-tournament team after leading the Mavericks to a 2-1 record at the tournament with wins over Kent State and Saint Peter's.

The senior from Kinston, N.C. (Kinston H.S.), averaged 19.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in the three games while shooting 20-of-45 from the floor, including eight three pointers. He made 10 of 13 from the free-throw line.

Ingram led the Mavs in scoring against Utah State and Saint Peter's with 21 points in each game. He had six offensive rebounds in the game against Utah State. Eleven of his 16 rebounds were on the offensive glass.

This is the first time this season a Maverick has been selected as the conference's top player.
