ARLINGTON, Tex. - Seven UT Arlington athletes garnered places on the second-team All-America teams for their performances in the NCAA Outdoor Championships held at Drake University in Des Moines, Ia. last week.
Cordero Gray capped his sensational UT Arlington career as a second-team All-America member in the 100m, where he was joined by true freshman teammate Clayton Vaughn.
Gray and Vaughn, along with Juan Lewis and Andrew Pettis also finished as second-team All-Americans in the 4x100m relay.
Isiah Clements also earned a spot on the All-America team in the high jump after setting a new personal best with a leap of 2.13 meters.
Jeff Rodriguez (pole vault) and Romain Martin (decathlon) also earned second-team All-America status.
